Polycom udnævner Andrew Miller til President og CEO

København - 11 May 2010 : Polycom, Inc. meddeler i dag, at virksomhedens bestyrelse har udpeget Andrew Miller til president og CEO gældende fra i dag. Miller efterfølger Robert Hagerty, som vil fratræde sin rolle som CEO, president, bestyrelsesformand og -medlem. For at gøre overgangen så flydende som mulig, vil Robert Hagerty fungere som rådgiver for Andrew Miller og bestyrelsen. Bestyrelsen planlægger at inkludere Andrew Miller i bestyrelsen kort efter dette års årlige aktionærmøde.

Andrew Miller har 28 års erfaring i video- og netværksindustrien, og gennem hans 11 år hos Cisco har han haft adskillige senior lederroller inden for salg, marketing og service. Derudover har han været CEO hos Tandberg, og inden han startede hos Polycom, var Andrew Miller global president for IPC Information Systems.

Andrew Miller startede sin karriere hos Polycom i 2009, hvor han blev ansat som executive vice president for Global Field Operations, hvor han med succes ledede virksomhedens strategiske initiativer, hvilke har transformeret Polycoms go-to-market, skabt strategiske og serviceudbyder alliancer samt lancerede Polycoms Open Collaboration Network.
